I would definitely need more counter and cabinet space than that. Where do you put the racks of cookies and pastries when you're done baking? Where do you put the Keurig Cafe? Where do you keep all the pots and pans, silverware, knives and jar openers and other utensils, storage containers, dishes, potholders and dishrags... all the things that kitchens need, but are unsightly and should be put near the sink and oven but out of sight? That's not a kitchen for a house. It's a kitchen for a loft apartment.

Storage space is always tight and in this kitchen I would say inadequate.

Am I the only one who hates islands. I call them hip bruisers that are hard on arthritic knees when you try to dodge them.

If you never eat at home, if you don't join clubs so have no parties (or always buy your contribution), if you have no family to come visit and if you have no dishes, mugs, wine glasses, flatware, or cookware, this kitchen could be for you. But how would you re-sell? Looks like a house for temporary renters only. The buyer can make money by renting out for $4000 a month for 3 months--maybe. My adjective: ridiculous.

I just checked the floor plan and the home has a full sized separate laundry room.
Behind the double doors is showing storage on the plan. See the link to the floor plan below. Homefinder - The Villages(R) Homes and Villas for Sale Last edited by pqrstar; 12-19-2019 at 01:47 AM. Reason: corrected floor plan |

I have a bigger kitchen than that in my motorhome.

I've never had a kitchen large enough to have a center island. When I recently toured the home show down south, I moved around the kitchen with a center island. I found myself going in circles. I prefer to have a straight shot from my appliances to the sink and to my main prep area. Center islands in a kitchen are not for me.

Last I knew all patio villas were built on spec, as were the great majority of courtyard villas and smaller designers. No one puts a gun to anyones head and forces someone to buy them .. And, by some stroke of magic, they are sold .. apparently to the tune of 150 to 200 homes hper month .. So anyone is free to express their opinion, but it doesn't appear to have any effect on the sales. One persons deal breaker is another persons paradise. Styles and floor plans change.

Way too small. Long term renters do cook, short term renters use the micro wave. This kitchen is tiny, way too small.

It’s perfect for people who don’t plan to eat at home.
