I think (?) Jim Stuppy, retired band director, may live at The Villages? If so, and someone who knows him sees this message, please share my message with him...

I'd like to thank Mr. Stuppy for being such a great band director. I learned a lot about perseverance and working hard for rewards while a member of the Hopkinsville High School band. Mr. Stuppy expected a lot of us, and many of us were much better for the experiences we had under his leadership.

I've thought many times over the years about how I would not have traded my time in the band for anything in the world.
