Question Disposing of chemicals

I'm sure this is covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

Where and how do I get rid of the myriad half filled bottles of chemicals in my garage and under the sink. I mean old paint, paint thinners, specialty cleaners, etc. I don't want to put them in the garbage unless that's recommended here.

Thanks. I'm so bored I'm cleaning out my garage.

Just had a collection day this past Saturday for Sumter county. Check online for your county waste disposal to see where they can be taken.
