Default Why ?????

Well I did some extensive and exhausting research and found that Chatham had the fewest dogs of all the Villages, Of course that made it a natural for me...........However , lately I think we are catching up with the rest of the villages and also the county dog pound.....

fumar........

I also did some extensive research and found that neither golf, pickle ball or bowling was the # 1 activity in The Villages. It's dog walking!

We were visiting our dearest old friends in their new Pennecamp Jasmine 2 home, and decided to ask their sales agent to show us a few new Jasmines. We did not want to be much further south, and definately not south of 466a. We wanted an east-facing lenai for afternoon shade, with an open back yard, but not the big expense of a golf course view. He showed us a couple of closeout spec homes with local streets behind them. We chose one with Pennecamp Dr behind it, and the pool just one block away. So we picked the home that we liked, rather than putting a lot of thought into the village. However, we do like the geographic location within TV.

Default why the village we chose

We chose Calumet Grove because it has a country feel to it. We live next to a horse farm, overlook a golf course, have a water view, can hear the train in the distance and even the roosters crow and the nearby church bells toll. It's near 27/441, so we can get to Ocala in 25 minutes, and reasonably near Spanish Springs, Very happy with our selection; so serene here, so much privacy. Love it!!
