Default Why does TOTV requires a 30 second wait in the event you double click a function

Can anyone explain why TOTV requires a 30 second wait in the event you double click a function, or as an example you click Don't show Classifieds just after you click New Posts?

Cause it's a machine and gets confused easily? To not have the delay would cost quite a bit more in server and programming fees, but it is irritating.

My guess...most of those types of functions require some sort of search...very CPU intensive. Unlimited searches for all ToTV users could slow things down quite a bit.

It can vary based on your device as well. But in most cases this is to prevent spammer attacks on the site.
