Hi Frank, how about Palmer CC or Eden Prarie both have interesting views, Palmer has the golf range view and Eden has the wetlands with lots of interesting birds. Have fun...

Thank you all. We will not have much time, so we were thinking perhaps someplace closer to Lake Sumter Landing area......just wanted to show the kids a bit of The Villages, see the golf carts, etc, and get a bite to eat.....??

Thanks!!

Frank

They have a nice fried fish special with coleslaw and fries at Lighthouse in Lake Sumter Landing. If it's not too cool you can sit outside and look at the lake. Also TooJays might be a good choice, they have lots to choose from.

Default Thai or Japanese in LSL...

I live in Legacy of Leesburg, but go to TV every week or so (love it, and will be moving there within 2 years...)
We LOVE Thai Ruby in LSL - lunch is very affordable (under $10) the service is wonderful, as is the Thai decor. Food is simply yummy - best... Quiet and centrally located.
Also VKI in LSL (Japanese, around the corner from Movie theatre in LSL) is very good, quiet and beautiful decor.
Recommend both A+++.

We always take company to the deck at The Lighthouse Restaurant. Can't beat the ambiance. If it is really hot, ask for a table in the shade.
Sometimes The Lighthouse is mega busy. Cody's deck offers more shade and also has a nice view.

Hi Frank...good choice...Fried Captains Haddock at The Lighthouse is the BEST New England ( English beer batter) style F & C in Florida!

HaHa......that is good. Actually, I'll be in The Villages everyday this week and most all of the next week doing Inspections daily.

There are so many good choices for dining in TV......The Lighthouse was very good, we all enjoyed the Haddock Fish Fry, as this is what I was always used to up North and can rarely find it done well here. It was a great meal. Took the kids back to the Airport this afternoon, now life returns to our "New Normal".......lol.

Thank you all for taking the time to give me suggestions.....!!

Frank
