Is anyone looking at Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars in the morning?
A couple weeks ago, I read that Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars were pretty close together in the morning sky. Saturn was a little left of Jupiter and Mars was very close to Jupiter.
In the next two weeks, I saw Mars move left away from Jupiter and pass Saturn, so now Mars is left of Saturn and moving away pretty quickly. This is the first time in my life that I have ever watched Mars move. In about two years, I think Jupiter will move to be left of Saturn and Mars will come back, so they will be fairly close again. After that, by my calculation, it will be 18 years until they are close, so I am really enjoying looking at them now. |

Yep, also got app on my iPad will identify anything in the sky including satellite’s, you be amazed what’s passing over out there.
What challenge try to spot mercury. You can only see it just before the sun raises and sometimes right after sun set if mercury on the right side of the sun. |
