Why not use a pad and pencil?

I had lunch today at Roberto's in Pinellas Plaza. The server used a pencil and a small, 3 by 5 inch notepad. Everything turned out as ordered. The anchovy pizza was good.

IMO same reasons the don’t put clocks in clinics/doctor offices, we have no clue of time without reference.

$100 per meal? I’m 70 and never paid $100 for a meal and I’m in pretty great health despite eating at those places you referred to as “slop houses”.
