Unless you're not playing golf, IMHO, the risk involved with driving a golf cart in TV is not with the exposure-very little margin for error ,road wise north of 466 and if you tie with a car or truck you LOSE

We're retired the $ saved by driving a golf car everywhere is IMHO not worth the risk

There is a list of the 14 fatal accidents in 2017 at the online news source. Only 2 involved golf carts and they were both golf cart driver error. Only one of these two cart deaths involved a car. Looks like your odds are better in a cart.

Not sure what you are saying North of 466, except for SS area, the traffic up here is way less than South of 466. I drive my golf cart daily and have never come close to being in an accident.

Sadly, I have. https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...32-post11.html

As far as the thread subject, tailgating is one of my pet peeves, people with tailgater's mind set are . I have pencil drawings of how to spray them with various liquids.... never got around to building one...

If their cart can go 22 and you can go 21, they need to be on you. Possibly drafting to save gas/electric?

Were all of these accidents in TV?

Probably the poster was referring to Morse above 466 where the golf carts have to share the road with cars. I think last year, a person was killed at the intersection with Rio Grande.

Carts don't let cars have the right of way. Cars DO have the right of way!
