I was told the for social security year of your normal retirement age you can make $51,000.
Before normal retirement age $19,000 before they would deduct any SSA earnings.

$19,560 for 2022, if you work and get social security checks, and you're not yet 67 years old (66 and "some" months, if you were born before 1960 or 66 if you were born between 1943 and 1954)

$51,960 if you retired at your full retirement age (66, 66+, or 67, depending on your birth year).

At and after FRA, the issue of how much of your social security is subject to taxation. But the discussion of how to calculate provisional income and AGI (adjusted gross income) and taxable income to determine how much of your social security is subject to taxation is for another discussion.
Yes, & how the extra income might affect Medicare Plan B premiums IRMAA

OBB, I'm not sure how many people you know who are employees of The Villages, but your statement "So most employees who work for the Villages don't WANT good paying jobs. They just want something to get them out of the house, be productive, engage in human contact with others, maybe exercise their minds and bodies (depending on the job) and continue contributing to society while they're still able. The money is more of a bonus - grocery fund", I find to be extremely inaccurate. I can tell you first hand that this isn't the case.
