I had a finch feeder and a hummingbird feeder. I loved watching the birds. It was a very sad day when I had to take down my bird feeders. The rats were gaining so much weight I can hear the thud, when they would occasionally fall from the feeder, from in the house. I love seeing the birds eat but I dislike seeing the rats eat more.
