You have No neighbors on the side with the walking trail and No neighbors directly behind you.
There’s a good chance you can find a spot where you enjoy it and it doesn’t bother anyone else. Corinthian chimes are expensive and have a pleasant melody compared to cheap wind chimes. I’d bring them along and give it a try. |

We also brought our wind chimes with us. Within 2 weeks our neighbor nicely informed us they did not care for them. We took them down!!!!!

We find them beyond annoying (especially on a breezy evening when trying to enjoy our lanai). |
You answered your own question. I would never put wind chimes outside. Homes in The Villages are too close and the wind carries. Why would you want to start off your new life irritating neighbors? That’s just me….

In the grand scheme of life you certainly can live without your wind chimes. Please don't do that to your neighbors. In the TV almost every day there is a breeze, so it would be nonstop noise. This is very different here with houses very very close together.
I am sure you could still be happy without them. A lot of people are very sensitive to constant noise and you could very literally ruin someone's life here in TV. Donate them to goodwill before you move. |
