Corinthian chimes are so soothing
I love the sound of Corinthian wind chimes. I don't like the metal ones that are constantly "tinging" . Corinthian chimes are like being in a spa. I would bring them and see how they work out. You can ask your neighbor, after you have had them up for a while. I believe they will love them. You should take them down when it gets really windy for their protection!

You can listen to them here.
Corinthian Bells Wind Chimes Would you want to hear it every time you walked into your lanai? |

The way way the start of this post is worded tends to make one think you feel you are special. When you buy a house you do not accept an offer, you make one and it is accepted or not. The way you state this, it says you feel you did someone a favor by accepting their offer to you to buy their house, typically unsolicited.
Now, in case you are not aware, wind chimes are not sound directional. They will not only be heard by your ears but everyone else's within the same range. So what you are asking is can I annoy my neighbors with my wind chimes?? Please reconsider your desire to live within Grey Poupon range of your neighbors. You should always consider your actions and their impact on others. Please ponder all of this, then make your decision. [QUOTE=Coop63;2437529]I have an accepted offer on a home in TV and starting to sort through what we bring down. |
Please, do not bring your wind chimes.

We, and our neighbors have wind chimes. No complaints from other neighbors. If we get complaint, the chimes will come down.
|
Those who love wind chimes should keep them locked indoors with the windows closed. Use a fan, if you must, to enjoy them.
Neighbors who have wind chimes outdoors simply have no concern for their neighbors. If a neighbor had wind chimes outdoors, I would be tempted to buy a huge dog and let it do its business on the wind chime neighbor's lawn. |

One scenario is that all the neighborhood is full of snow birds, so in the summer time, you can put them out when not alot of people are around.. . . So you might get the ocassional usage. good luck |

My wife has some wind chimes that she put on a Shepards crook in our backyard. She found them on the patio table one day and she put them back on the crook. They were back on the table again the next day. Since I’m the only other person with access to our backyard, it was obvious who took the chimes down. It didn’t take three times - the chimes have never appeared again. Darn, I hate wind chimes.

Its too windy down here for most chimes. Mine is in the garage.
