Default Window blinds

It's time to make a decision about blinds for our windows. Can you give us your experience with the installation of 2" faux blinds; companies, difference in quality between one company and the next. I will eventually have cornice treatments but need to put blinds up for now. Any suggestions, quality issues or reputable people to do the job would be a great help. We are doing this long distance, so again comparing for ourself is not an option. Thanks, TV people are the BEST!!!

We just closed 2 weeks ago and we hired 48hr Blinds. We dealt with Rick and they did a great job at a great price.

48 hour blinds is great to work with. When we closed, our blinds on the sliding doors were on the interior wall. We asked Rick if he could convert them to inside the door frames and he did so very reasonably. They don't take up nearly as much floor space this way.

We are meeting with the design team shortly. Should we order blinds with the house or do it after closing? Thanks!

I priced out both and it cost less to do it after closing. We got regular blinds in all the windows except for the front window, we got plantation shutters for that one. We also got verticals for the sliders, which were mounted on the inside. Two hours after closing we met them at the house and they had them installed in about one hour and they did a great job. We used 48hr Blinds and dealt with Rick.

Have researched this also (we start building in Oct) and 48 hr Blinds seems to be the "man" once you read the many positive posts on TOTV. Definitely smarter according to many here to use people other than TV whatever that choice may be. Our sales agent even suggested 48 hrs!

PZJAY, pardon my ignorance but what are 48 hr blinds? Are there also 24 hours blinds? One time, on a previous TOTV thread or during a night out in TV I thought someone named Bob, from south of MA, west of RI and east of NY previously discussed these blinds. Are we better off having TVs install these blinds Bob?
Thank you

Default Gator Blinds & Shutters

We called them, and they were prompt with quote, and did a professional job installing the blinds & shutters...I would recommend them highly. Beverly Russell of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Just had Gator Blinds installed a few weeks ago, big variety to choose from. Unlike other places I called this place at least answers the phone.
Had vertical blinds of various sizes installed with lifetime warranty. Had many styles to choose from ($ - $$$) for any budget. Had 4 sliders and a large window done for approx. $1000. for fabric lined verticals. Great choices, textures and colors.
