After a recent update the login changed from pin to password. The system no longer accepts the password. I have tried multiple ways to roll back the system but each time it returns me to the login screen. It’s a three year old laptop with current updates. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated

If it is a Microsoft account, simply follow the steps to reset your password (details are in the post above).

If it is a local account, then it's a different issue and requires a number of specific steps outlined in the following video:

Thanks to all. Oddly today it accepted the old password after not working 2 days
