This is the time of year when we start anticipating our return to our home in The Bubble. It's like being a little girl again and looking forward to Christmas. We feel blessed to be able to spend our winters in such a lovely spot. Summer and the fall are just beautiful in Canada, with the leaves changing colour. But there is nothing to top the feeling we get driving into our Village after being gone for six months, with foolish smiles plastered from ear to ear!

We arrived in TV last Dec <has it really been almost a year already ????>....

I still remember getting rid of the snow blower and shovels. What a great feeling!

For the past week, we have had high 70's and low 80's unheard of in England at this time of year. This, by the way is what passes as our summer
I hope it warms up in T V soon, we will be there next Tuesday!!

Had a high of 40 yesterday in WNY, along with horizontal rain all day. Leaves are starting to fall, filling up our eavestroughs, !! Means I have to climb up and clean them out. Changed out summer clothes for winter duds. BUT, this time packed up our warm weather stuff for our trip to TV on October 14. for a couple of months, then back up North for the Holidays, then back down to TV in February for 3 or more months of sunshine and blue skies, green grass. Probably have one more lawn mowing to do before winter slides in.

It's too early for it to be cold already! Summer weather needs to hang on a little longer.. The cold weather will be here before we know it (if it isn't already) Better start heading south and mailing out the Christmas cards!

This is a wonderful time of the year in Canada, with the leaves changing colour. It's going to be 72 on Saturday, we're having an Indian Summer. Nothing to complain about here! (And we'll escape to TV in November, so that makes it absolutely delightful!)
