It is sad that in our 24/7 news coverage that such a momentus achievement was not played up more by the media. WESH and I assume the others did a good job of live coverage. But I was disappointed during the newsday it was relegated to like other news.

I watched every televised US launch and recovery including todays. Thank goodness for DVRs.......anyway I think it was the top story of the day even if it isn't racist or sexist or bleeding or campaigning.

I thought it was incredible to watch the descent and splashdown as it occurred from the drone and the camera in the capsule. Watched the drogue chutes deploy, then detach and the main chutes come out and partially fill. Then they fully deployed and slowed the craft to the ocean. And to see the actual splash from the capsule camera as it hit was neat.

Missed It.

Wife and I went out and did not see it from Amelia. Was looking towards the East but did not see it.

Did go see a Shuttle Launch at the Cape and it was incredible when it flew over my head downrange from the launch pad .
