Has anyone done any customization to the floor plan of a Woodside? We are looking at stretching the living room side to add more space for the living area and the 2 bedrooms. Before we get started, we were looking for what neat things people have done on the build or post build.

When we were building our home we saw a Woodside that was under construction. The owners did what I thought was a brilliant idea. They turned the fourth bedroom into a bathroom and utilized the original third bathroom in the floor model into a butler's pantry for the kitchen. They also were building a pool! Great idea, I thought!!

Thanks everyone for all of your replies! We completed our design process. We were not allowed to make any changes in width due to lot constraints. This is what we decided on:

- Stretched the front porch forward 3' and added a ceiling fan and a rail for a nice seating area
- Stretched the garage forward 2'
- Stretched bedroom three forward 4', but moving bathroom and bedroom two forward 2', to make both bedrooms 2' larger (this made the entry change a bit)
- Stretched entire back of the house back 2'
- Stretched Bedroom four back to be even with the Master, added a walk-in closet (my sewing/craft room)
- Flipped garage/GC garage to allow for kitchen changes
- Bumped nook into the garage, extending counter/cabinets entire length of wall, added a wall oven combo and gas cooktop
- Swapped positions of bath three and laundry room
- replaced two small windows in Master with a large picture window (pool/wooded view)
- Stretched the lanai back 6' (since we lost 10' in width due to bedroom four changes)

We are excited for construction to begin!
