Am I doing something wrong? At 6 a.m. today when their website said appointments were available, there were no clickable boxes. Am I on the wrong page or what? This is where I was trying: COVID-19 Vaccine in Florida | Publix Super Markets

No you are doing everything right. They changed their system, you have to wait for the page to refresh and put you into a queue...which apparently NEVER HAPPENS

I had 2 computers running. One I never hit refresh and I was able to get in on it. I made one appointment and then went back and made another. Both at Mulberry on Monday. The other computer, where I had used the refresh several times, is still waiting.
The book appointment box shows up at the bottom of the list of counties. Both computers are Windows with Chrome for a browser. |

According to Publix, they are severely limiting entry into the system to keep the system “stable”. I would suggest going to have breakfast at TooJay’s and perhaps when you get home you might see some activity.

55 minutes....still waiting....must have been filled within 5 minutes. Can't they change the status to ALL FILLED instead of APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE once the slots are all full???

I think you're right, but how about showing the status of the queue. If I knew I was number 3,500, I would just give up!

Perhaps, but good luck with that. I was able to book an appointment for someone immediately after 6 AM this morning.

They do. When the website refreshes every minute, the "appointments available" changes to "fully booked" next to the county name as the appointments fill up.

Why isn't Sumter or Lake county listed in the available counties?

I think it is Publix's decision to not give vaccines in those counties.

Unless you want to travel more than 300 miles, all Publix appointments are booked. The next scheduling time is Wednesday, Jan 27, at 6 AM.
