Have you ever noticed a car that looks horrible with dents and rust, paint peeling, and an eyesore. People will park as far away as possible. As if the driver just doesn’t care if someone door dings or not. What happens when we see that vehicle parked next to our nice vehicle? Lo we start inspecting for the door dings and damages if they park to close. I parked a classic vette in a parking lot at least 100 ft from another vehicle. With a almost empty parking lot I went back to my classic and Lo n behold a scrap yard car parked inches away. Not one other vehicle within 100 feet. Maybe I need rat rods!

Law enforcement has authority over ALL handicap spaces regardless of location ... just as they have control over who gets a permit / placard.

Instead of taking a photo, I would have made a call to the police. This is ridiculous. The driver of that car should have paid a fine, and the impound lot to get their car back.

Send the picture to the Police Department and to the Sheriffs Office. Whoever this is needs to be ticketed.

Property like this is public access subject to law enforcement. Violations involving handicap parking can result in arrest in Florida.

Was it a prank? Or was the lot so full that this was the only space? Clearly the driver was not thinking about you. Sorry.

Maybe the driver had some sort of personal emergency.

Sure, like they were overcome with a sudden psychological need to actualize stupidity and selfishness!

OP should trade in for a 2020 Hyundai with Smart Park. Using the remote, you can back the car out of the spot enabling you to get in your car and away from crazy people who would park like the one next to you.
