Default The Villages on television

I'm sitting, with my laptop, watching the US Open tennis match from Queens, New York and, lo and behold, on comes a commercial for The Villages. Yeah, like I need that! Well, at least, I'll be there in less than 2 months to check things out. But, as I noted, I could have done without that little tease.

TK,

I noticed that too....I've watched Televised tennis tournaments for years and never recall seeing Villages promo commercials before. Hey, maybe it'll bring a whole new crop of tennis players to TV. Many of my best friends are tennis players and we've been trying to convince some of them to come down here and check it out....maybe the commercial will nudge them along.

Villages07,

I'll be in TV from the 12th thru the 16th and would really appreciate a match or two. I'm not much of a player but still enjoy the game. Do you have any suggestions for me, a non-resident, finding someone to play on Sunday afternoon the 14th? Saturday and Monday I'll be with Realtors.

I'd love to play on Saturday if you have any time not scheduled with the realtor. Unfortunately I have a business trip leaving on Sunday. I just left NYC this morning - what a beautiful day.

Jojo
I couldn't think of anything nicer! Thanks for replying. I have an appointment with an MLS Realtor at 10:30am and have no idea how long I'll be with him. However, I will send you a PM with my cellphone number and you can call me on Saturday afternoon the 13th and find out if I'm still with him or not. I hope you can do the late afternoon/early evening time slot.
Yes, the weather has been outstanding in the NY area for weeks now. I am in Rockland County anxiously, very anxiously, awaiting my relocation. Please be on the lookout for the PM. Thanks, again jojo.

p.s. - Still looking for a Sunday match... and, like I mentioned previously, I'm not much of a player but can hold my own I guess.
