I am SOOO frustrated with the continuing problems with New Classifieds.
I have written Admin several times asking specific problems, and they say 'they are working on it, and to please have patience'.......but it is taking so long for them to fix things. They seldom answer my exact questions, for example: I asked them why we have to list so much personal information when we are asking the seller of an item a question. I never got an answer from Admin. on this. When you click on 'ask seller a question', there are blocks to fill out, asking you to list your name, phone number and email (for all the world to see). If you do not fill out ALL these blocks showing all your personal information, it will not let you ask the seller a question. What ever happened to sending the seller a PM when you need to ask them a question? With all the Villages break-ins, I really do not care to post my name, address and phone each time I need to ask a simple question. We don’t know who all is lurking on TOTV to get your personal information. Another problem is when you go from page 1 to page 2 on New Classifieds, the second page (and continuing pages) all load from the bottom to the top, which means you have to scroll up to read each item listed on page 2, then once at the top you have to scroll back down to click on page 3, and so on. Really??? They can't fix this? Yet another question is why they cannot list a 'see all' (classifieds) instead of just showing 24 items at a time. They said it would be too slow to show more than 24 items at a time. This new system seems lame compared to Panjo. I could see 144 items at a time on Panjo without having to go through all that clicking and scrolling. I know, I know.....Panjo is no longer available to us. I am just using them as an example of how the new system compares to Panjo. It is like going back to an old outdated system. What problems are some of you still having with New Classifieds and is Admin addressing all of your questions….other than saying ‘be patient’?

Here it is, but my advice is to address these problems with the moderators or administration privately...which I am sure they asked you to do. Membership on this forum is a privilege and some people have been shown the door.

It's a free website. We also don't process email 24/7 so the response to a question via email will vary.
We replied that you no longer have to list all the personal information and we also responded that if you have a see all the pages will load to slow and it will create other issues. We believe we have resolved the page 1 to page 2 issue. We wish it was as easy as waving a magic wand for everything to work perfectly on every computer, ipad, smart phone, and browser but it takes time, patience, work, and money to get it perfect and we are working toward that.
