Received call from (IRS) today telephone # 415-413-3497. Its a scam. I called Sumter County Sherriff's Office, they and Seniors vs. Crime are aware of the scam.

So the scam call WASN'T from the IRS, and yet you claim it was.

The IRS does not call folks, in fact taxpayers have experienced difficulty trying to call the IRS. I knew they were not calling from the IRS and sorry if I confused you. My point in posting it was to alert others to the scam.
