The key to enjoyment on this forum is the ignore posters feature under settings. After you add the first dozen or so compulsive posters are blocked, those who add nothing to the topic, the quality of the forum experience skyrockets.

Enjoying every day of retirement here in TV, but already know who eats healthier than thou with nare a preservative, who is tired of the same threads dedicated to topics already discussed and who is very kind and helpful to newbies to TOTV.
BTW, Gracie Girl was around when I first began reading TOTV many moons ago. I almost thought she was the Administrator. Smile!

Sadly a lot of the people in the villages have way too much time on their hands and are bored .
So they take to this forum as entertainment for themselves and post all kinds on comments they no one cares about . Snarky is good example .they feel a sense of importance seeing their words on the forum so we get tons of blah blah that no one cares about but they keep posting on and on

I know many will disagree, but this forum has become similar to sitting next to a very boring person on a long flight and he thinks the other passengers want to hear his so called humor or view on everything . Of course you are forced to listen.

These types of people feel important in their OWN minds and you see their comments over and over on this forum ..Maybe its their age or maybe its that no one takes them seriously or maybe they are just bored out of their minds or ???
