Florida summers are not only hot, but they are also HUMID. The fan alone would be nice, but you can find fans much cheaper than this.

The misting part will only make you wet. The mist does not evaporate when it is humid.

In fact, any A/C which depends upon evaporation to work will not work well in Florida.

I agree. I tried a misting fan for my golf push cart and wound up returning it. A regular fan works much better.

I agree. It is a good idea for arizona or nevada, but not so good for Florida. In Florida it is a good way to get a soggy shirt.
