I had xfinity for nine years. Mostly reliable, but the advertised speed is much faster than the actual speed, and they kept raising the price willy-nilly. If you call and complain, after 45 minutes on hold, they might come up with a better promise at a better price, but the promise will be broken soon after, and the prices will rise again. I switched to T-mobile internet, cheaper, 3 to 100 times faster, depending on time of day and usage load, and so far reliable.

BTW, when you try to get then to correct it, get ready for NOTHING to happen!!!
Those speeds are when you are directly connected to the router. If you are running wireless or anything else, it will be slower. My speeds are as advertised.

I have the same Xfinity package. It has been very reliable, really can’t complain. Just checked my bill, I pay $258.10.

Wow!!!! You must be rich to pay that munch or poor because you pay that much.

I pay $30/month for unlimited fiber internet. $20/YEAR for 2 cell phones on a legacy plan which you cannot get anymore but you can keep it if you have it. And $0.00 for Google Voice. I'm not sure if anyone can still sign up for the free version of Google Voice. Check out the weblink for free television both streaming & OTA.

You are definitely not comparing apples to apples. I doubt that I would watch any of those free channels.

By the way, the fiber internet price for my area is $75 per month for 940 mbps. I have 1.2 Gb for $72 per month.

Everyone has their own priorities which is good.
We mostly watch Olando stations for local news/weather and general tv which some people with cable pay for. That along with free streaming is more than we have the time to watch. Most likely I will buy the streaming version of Avatar 2 as we have never seen.

You pay $270/mouth = $3,240/year.
We pay $30/month + $20/year = $380/year.

I will soon be updating the list of over 70 free tv stations I get using an antenna. The link also includes free & paid tv streaming.
