Now that the LLLC has closed, what are you doing for yoga classes? We will miss Caron and Jack. I know the rec centers have yoga, but good luck on getting in during the Winter.

I will miss Caron and Jack so much. Before the news I had registered for classes thru Jun. I am really bummed. Since I am a member of MVP I will try their Yoga classes. You would probably be fine at one of the rec centers; you will just need to find one that meets your needs. Face it - no one will be like Caron. Good Luck.

For the past 3 years I've been going to MVP at Brownwood and for the past 12 months I've been taking Yoga twice a week with a terrific instructor in Suzanne Duncan. You might have seen her photo in the Sun 2 weeks ago when her husband Scott rode his bicycle across the USA, she took off some time and followed him in the car. Her class is Tue & Thur at 10:30 and we usually have about 40 in the room, mats, blocks and straps are provided. With the influx of snowbirds they've added a second class at 11:45 on Tue & Thur with Valerie, she was also in the Sun as one of the people who saved the life of a man at a pickleball who had a heart attack and she gave him CPR. On Monday, Wed and Friday they have Yoga at 9am with Doreen, who is really gentle. The evenings they also have Yoga at 6pm. Membership is $60 a month, second member is $40, it's well worth it for all the classes and equipment they have.

If you are available in the late afternoons, my advanced beginner class is at 5pm at Laurel Manor on Tuesday and 5pm on Thursday at El Santiago. (Except for this coming Tuesday when we will be at Churchill.) It's a pretty small class with a lot of personal attention. Nameste, Judy Zimmer

There is a new yoga class starting up on Tuesdays at 5:30 at Burnsed Rec Center. I think soon. It's supposed to be in the Rec magazine soon. It was announced on the Nextdoor forum for Tamarind Grove.
