Riding an alligator to work. Very funny. There is a way Villagers can do their part to help and that is quit topping off their gas tanks every other day. If we stay calm and don’t panic we can get through this bump in the road.

Walk, ride a bike, drive the golf car, plan your trips. Get creative.

Thank goodness we can speak light of the fuel situation. Many folks that work for a living, don't think it is funny or amusing. A higher price to get to work means cutting food budgets for many.
Yes, we have gone through this in the past. But, no one has to like it. Being retired means I can live without using my car very often.

Maybe one can look at it this way........all those months of people having to work from home, they saved money on gas and now they are spending it on gas. No?

Makes it difficult to get a full grocery shopping. I wonder how those folks that work 8-12 hrs a day feel about someone suggesting that they walk or ride a bike to work.

Just take advantage of your neighbor and ask them to take you to the golf course all the time, while your cart sits in the garage not using any gas.
Remember, the Villages, it's the friendliest town!
