Default Courtyard fence repair

Have you had a hole in your courtyard fence? Did you try to repair it? I have a golf ball size hole - and would like to know if repairing is an option - or is it easier to get a new fence part. Hoping someone knows - and also if unrepairable - can you just buy a portion of the fence?

Thanks

Default Vinyl or stucco?

Not sure if you're talking about the vinyl fence that the newer CYV neighborhoods have on the sides or the stucco one that most of us have across the back. For me, if it were the vinyl part, I guess whether I would repair or replace would depend on if it were covered (or could be) by landscaping.

If it's the stucco, would repair and then paint, probably the whole length, as it would likely be hard to match. I was told it should be painted with a special paint - can't remember exactly what - but available at Color World and probably all paint stores, just tell them where and what you are painting.

If you call The Villages, they will tell you exactly how to fix it. They have amazing information. Colours used, where paint was purchased, etc.
Even if a resale has changed hands several times, they have the original information!

Good to know Barefoot, KYBlue, can you let us know what they tell you and how hard it is to do? And by the way, do you know what caused the hole?

When we were selling our Villa, The Villages told us: what colours were used on the exterior, and what colours were used on the interior, including the trim.

I guess that when a new home is built, all the data is entered into the puter. I was impressed!
