I have used Groupon infrequently for merchandise and mainly for dining. There has never been a problem. Be aware that there are expiration dates for the advertised deal. Should you miss that date, you will never lose the value of what you originally paid.

I always check Groupon before I buy something, you never know what you are going to find. The car was in Belleview has good deal, and have used it at the Dali Museum in St. Pete, Bok Tower and a couple other museums.

Groupon = Food Stamps for the Middle Class

Have used it several times with success. Funny - we've never gone back to the same place and paid "regular prices". Most places only worth it at discount.

Used the Groupon for Silver Springs. It was terrific. Great deal for the money. Just be aware you also need to pay an entrance fee to the park.
