I never watch anything live. I record everything I want to watch and burn through commercials , I do this even for football I don’t start till about 45 minutes in so I can bypass all the delays , if the game goes badly I’ll switch to another live game , unfortunately then I have to watch the delays , I never start watching till after 7 pm except for football and I mean never , until 7 it’s just music for me whenever I’m in house

Yep. And many of the folks who are pushing those services are likely giving you a hard time for walking on the wrong side of the road or tell you that you should be arrested for driving your golf cart 23mph because it's <wait, here it comes> against the law!

That was a long day, and 48 posts, without ESPN.

believe that contract expires after this season. I believe the package will be divided amongst the streaming services and cable. Dont see how the monopolization by direct tv benefits anyone.

I save over a hundred bucks per month by cutting the cable. Anything that i wish to watch that i an get on the internet, i can cast to my tv anyway.
Show me another service that can record unlimited and keep it as long as youtubetv and i might be encouraged to change, but only if the price is close to what i am currently paying.
I had the same threats from comcast programing as i do now. Comcast was constantly warning of certain networks being negotiated and the possible loss of broadcasting from time to time.
I don't mind saving $15 a month for something that i never view anyway.
me too. Also like not being ripped off by dvr rental fees $ 20 per tv rooms. Wired every room with ethernet but don't use it since 5g wireless makes cable wires obsolete
one thing people should know is, if you switch to internet streaming understand that unless you purchased unlimited wifi the tv data usage gets high and you'll get messages from your internet company about it.
Simple solution is to shut off tvs when not in use similar to shutting lights off in unoccupied rooms.

I think I will give it a week or so for them to come to an agreement. I can't believe YouTube TV will let Disney, ESPN, ABC and others walk. They would lose a ton of subscribers, including me
Sling and Philo are super cheap. Roku TV Live is free and it has a great selection. Peacock is free and several others. I prefer Directtv stream on Roku. So many choices to not have to worry about Googles constant drama over control. Use stream freebies when available or buy pay channels individually. I can choose individual channel apps and not get things I do not watch.
