Default almost there

After lurking since last August and making trips up to TV to look at houses occasionally, I am closing on a CYV in May. Last weekend my intention was to look at new CYVs, which I did, but also wanted to look at one resale in Duval. I had pretty much talked myself into a new one, but I liked the resale. It had a lot of features I liked, most of which was more of a back yard than the new villas. I hope to do some native plant landscaping like I have in my home here, and have butterflies and birds. I was encouraged when I saw a cardinal flying in the neighborhood. I put in what I thought was a low offer not expecting it to be taken, and of course, it was.

I broke all my rules--I still have my house here and need to get it on the market. I can more than manage, but it's still scary to think of owning two houses at once.

Still, I'm looking forward to the day when all this madness of selling and buying is over and I am up there relaxing with my dogs.

We owned two homes for 4 years. Yes, it's scary, but, at least the market is climbing somewhat.

Good luck to you! And no worries...many here own more than one home and it all works out! I do too and use one as rental income! You will love it here and I am happy your offer was accepted!!

Friday and Saturday we raked 29 yards of mulchh as our first step in preparing the sale of our house, I'm not a patient person ( probably because my back is sore and we were spreading while it snowed). I hope the Realitor that is coming on Tuesday provides good suggestions on what we need to do to get this baby on the market
