Default Tom & Gail from South Bend, IN

I am writing this looking at 10 inches of snow and a temperature of 16 degrees! However, we can look forward to closing on our new villa in Tamarind Grove on January 30th!

We came down for a four day visit in December. Gail insisted that we were "just looking" and we should leave our checkbooks at home. Needless to say, we were overwhelmed by the place and especially the people, and we were soon contacting our bank to wire the money for a deposit. We will be spending a few days in TV in February, and we will come back the first week of April for another visit.

Since we are about 2 years away from retirement, I wonder if anyone can give us advice about property management and rental companies. We plan to furnish the unit and would like to rent it out until we retire. Has anyone used Gerry Dietrich and the Partners Rental Program?

We look forward to hearing from our new neighbors. Any Notre Dame fans out there? We also love Ballroom Dancing.

Solid Notre Dame fan but I did not attend ND. Went to St Johns University but they only were good basketball teams in the past. Chose ND due to football. Welcome to the villages. My wife and I are closing on 2/7 on our home in Sanibel.

Good luck

Mike

Loved it when we lived in northern Indiana and the Illinois TV channels reported that Chicago had 3" of snow, and Indiana got 14" of "lake effect".

Welcome Hoosiers. Purdue alum here.

We love the summers and fall - winter here stinks. I have learned to dread the words "lake effect".

Both my boys went to Purdue. I am an IU grad.
