Question Anyone building a Cedar?

Hubby and I fell in love with TV this past September, when we took our LSV. We want to move to TV, sometime in early-mid 2013. We want to build a Cedar and enclose the Dining Room area and make it into an Office (with sliding, double, pocket French Doors on the living room side to maximize natural light). Albeit small-ish in size (12'-6" x 8'), has anyone else done this or contemplated doing this? Because we will have a lot of visiting family/friends, we really want two guest bedrooms. Any/all thoughts, suggestions, comments would be appreciated.......

I almost did, had plans for a home theater area in that space, you can move the 2 bedroom doors around where U come in off the foyer then that area would be 3' larger

Thanks, Jimbo. Question....if you move Bed 3's door from the hallway to the foyer, how would I access Bed 2 and the guest bath??? I am blonde, so perhaps I'm missing something obvioius. I was thinking of moving the sliding pocket door, forward, toward the Foyer, so it would make Bed 2, 3, and guest bath, more private. I am interested, however, in learning more about your design....intriguing, especially if I can gain 3' in the Office. DiAne

Planning to be down in January....start building ~March/April. We will have to find short-term rental, for a few months....Hubby and I are still working full-time, but thankfully can telecommute. I am going to try and attach a drawing of what I am thinking of....

We actually canceled our design date about 10 days ago and found a new home just finished that we fell in love with.

I'll be happy to give you my plans for your house rather than waste them.
