Oh Boy, do I agree.... We need more restaurants and less tire stores.... At least the eating places might help with the crowds during the winter months.

Also agree that I would much rather see some more restaurants in Colony Plaza but there is still some room for them and hopefully we will see them soon.

Now that there will soon be a building on that spot I can not help but wonder where they will land the medivac helicopters in the future?

We have plenty of banks!!! We really do NOT need another one at Colony! I agree---MORE restaurants!! Also make that crossing on Colony Blvd (or whatever it's called) safer! I know it's the county and NOT the builder who needs to address this!! BUT there will be accidents down there if it's not addressed!! Having a bank right there too....plus other commerce as we grow!

We don't need no stinkin' restaurants.
Haven't you ever had a rubber sandwich on a dollar bill?

BTW...does anybody know anybody who banks at BBT?

Hi Whelan. We have been BB&T customers for about 10 years in VA. Great bank to work with, in my opinion. We will maintain our accounts with BB&T when we move to TV, hopefully in the not too distant future.

We've been BB&T customers for many years and are thrilled at having a branch at a more convenient location!

BBT is in the process of absorbing BankAtlantic, an old well-established Florida-based bank. A lot more BBT customers on the way.

Been with BBT and First Va (who they bought out) for more than 40 years. Its a great "regional bank"..totally different than Bank of America or Chase.
They are rapidly expanding through buyouts!

Let's see. At Colony you have Beef's, Subway, China Gourmet, Sakura, CiCi's, and Fiesta Grande, with Bonifay just across 466A. If you include McD's , there are eight places to get something to eat. And there is only one bank until BB&T is open.

How bout BREAKFAST! I don't count McDonalds and Bonifay's buffet is more expensive and limited than Katie Bell's, Athens or even 2 Jays.
We usually get in the cart and go to Spanish Springs and all three aboved mentioned places are together in a row.
