Question Best Nights For Each Square

I've noticed that Lake Sumter Landing has nights where the square is packed and other nights when it's not as busy. Is there a schedule or something so a newby like me can know what night to go to which square if you want lots of people around you (which is why I would go).

And while I'm asking, what nights does each square have vendors, since that seems to be a popular night.

Thanks

In the last Sunday of the month Village's Sun (newspaper) there is a full page schedule of the entertainment for each town square for the next month. Most of us hang it on our refrigerators. Also on market night in Spanish Springs (mon & wed) the Villages Sun has a booth and they will sell you that schedule for 25 cents. As far as popular nights- search favorite bands on this site and it will steer you in the right direction. I see another dream coming true.

If you have a smart phone there is a free app by The Daily Sun Mobile that gives the entertainment per square per month, movie times and business directories plus breaking news and much more.
While on the subject of apps, there is also a free mobile app of The Villages cart paths that shows how to get to any rec car, square, golf courses and more by golf cart.

Thanks very much, those are all good useful answers. I'll get that Daily Sun app and I already have the GPS app. I didn't know about the Brownwood events at all.

The reason I asked in the first place is that last night we took some guests to Lake Sumter Landing and it was jumping, lots of people and action and fun. Then we went to Spanish Springs and it was like a morgue. It made me think there was a good reason so many people were having fun in Sumter Landing while Spanish Springs was a snoozer. It had nothing at all to do with the band, people were all over the place, not just in the square.

People come out for certain groups that are very popular - for instance Scooter the DJ is always packed. Also, market nights tend to be more crowded. Also try Uncle Bobs Rock shop, Rocky and the Rollers, and Cactus Jack and the Cadillacs. I sure there are some I am missing

Uncle Bob's Rock Shop will be at Spanish Springs Wednesday Night, 11/11, along with a market night and Veterans Day - it should be jammed.
