Default Broken Furniture disposal

I apologize if this has been addressed here before but I need to know how to dispose of a piece of broken furniture here in The Villages. It is approximately 5x2 ft. in size. We don't have a vehicle large enough to transport it so it must be picked up. Thanks for any info you can offer!

I am looking for someone to pick up a couch I have. I would appreciate if you would share with me what you found, or who you found, that would remove the item. You indicated you found your answer, but you did not indicate what that was. Thanks in advance for the favor of a reply.

I believe this info is still accurate:

If you live in Sumter or Marion counties, call 748-0109. If you live in Lake county, call 787-4416. They will tell you when they can pick up, and then they send a special truck. The item has to be at the curb.
