Default Cable Television & Internet Provider - Village of Fernandina

Will be closing on our new home in the Village of Fernandina in early July.

Need to pick a cable tv and internet provider. Heard that Comcast and CenturyLink lines are already run to the homesites, but if I pick Bright House they will need to run lines.

Any recommendations concerning best provider in the areas of quality and cost will be greatly appreciated. Only need extended basic cable tv with high speed internet.

We live in Fernandina (on the outskirts of Village still building) and have Brighthouse. Check again about lines. No contract, cheaper even with extra channels, extras on telephone and higher speed internet. So far, so good after four months. Welcome!

I just had Brighthouse here on Thursday to set up cable/internet/phone and it was a piece of cake. It took the technician maybe an hour to run the wire under the side lawn from the box in the back of the yard to the garage and then hook that up in the garage. Once that was done he had some sort of device that activated everything 1-2-3. Don't be put off with the idea of running lines. It's absolutely nothing to worry about.

We had Brighthouse at our place on Allaire Loop Friday to do the install. They were on time and had the service activated in about an hour including running the line outside. We are very pleased with the picture quality and internet speed.

We settled on our home in Fernandina in late April and had the same questions. I heard about Bright House on TalkoftheVillages and that's who we called. They arrived at the scheduled time, very professional, and there were absolutely no issues. And PAfarmgal is on the money -- they are cheaper with extra channels, extras on telephone and higher speed internet. No regrets on our end. Welcome to Fernandina!

We also recently moved into Fernandina and agree completely with all said regarding Brighthouse. Phone, tv, internet and price; all with no contract. No risk decision, can't be beat that!

Welcome to Fernandina.

We have had problems with our wireless internet through Bright House. They gave us an extender which has helped, but still doesn't always work on the lanai. Otherwise we have been happy. We had AT&T U-verse before moving here so we were spoiled.
