Smile From Chicago to Village of Charlotte

Hi Villagers! Only 2 more weeks to work, then I'm retired! We are very excited to be moving onto Dalkeith Terrace and hope to meet our neighbors soon. So glad we downsized from Naperville a few years ago - it will make it easier this time around. I appreciate all your comments on this web site. I've noted names of doctors and dentists and hairdressers, oh my. I feel Gracie is already a friend and can't wait to join the pilates class, bike club, water aerobics, cruising buddies, new church, etc. Once we are in we'll be looking for 1. golf cart, 2. charcoal grill, 3. lanai furniture 4. twin beds and probably more. We're so glad to have found this community. See you soon! Madge and Brad

Don't forget to join The Villages Chicagoland Club. There is a waiting list but get on it and, if you read your emails, you can take advantage of an occasional "blue light special' for membership. Not being selective but there are a lot of members.

Email "chicagolandclub@aol.com".

Husband knows Lombard well - as he graduated from Chiropractic College way back when! We lived in Wheaton in the Briarcliff Apts as newlyweds - great memories.

Hi Foruhun from your neighbor to the north in Cook County. I have several coworkers who live in Naperville. Hope your move to The Villages goes smoothly. If you are missing snow this winter, I will be glad to come to your home in TV in January or February with some Naperville snow in a cooler.
