Closing on a CYV in a few weeks!
After two lifestyle visits and house hunting for many months, I am very excited to become a new Villager! The full-time move won't happen until the house is sold, but I'm looking forward to being down there and setting up the house soon.
This forum has been an invaluable source of information. So glad I found it! Looking forward to meeting my fellow Villagers soon. Wish me luck on the sale of the house! |

Welcome to TOTV and The Villages. Indeed good luck in the sale of your home. I heard that this winter will be pretty bad in East Coast. We had it so good last winter. As far as I am concerned the days of snowboarding is over but....

Thank you Cathy and Yorio. I'm sure I'll love it there. Yes, I heard the same thing about this upcoming winter. If the house isn't sold soon, at least I know I have a warm place to go!

2BNTV, I am in the Lincoln Park section. Near McLean and not too far from the Raceway. Have you been back recently? Hope you all have a nice warm sunny day. It's a little on the chilly side here this morning. |

I was not too far from McLean Ave and my aunt lived a couple of blocks from the raceway. You are near the part of McLean near Central Ave, right?
I have a cousin who lives in Yonkers a couple of blocks from the raceway by the Cross County Shopping Center so I do come to Yonkers on a somewhat regular basis. I also have a dear friend in Ardsley who I visit off the Saw Mill Parkway. I wish you luck on a quick sale of your house.
