What are the plus and minus of the four counties?

There are only three counties....Lake, Marion, Sumter. Lake County doesn't have a bond, Marion and Sumter do. All new housing built in The Villages is in Sumter County.

Advantages, disadvantages? I'm not aware of any, but others might have information.

Here's another difference. In Marion county only, the roads are not maintained by the county or state but by the CDD. No one has satisfactorily answered my question as to how they will be paid for if/when they need to be replaced in the future. Another future bond perhaps. Roads are maintained by the county in Lake and Sumter.
