Do fees/HOA dues remain the same or do they change over time?

The bond fee is added to your annual property tax bill, so it is yearly.

Depending which district you are in, it can be 30 or more years. If you bought a pre-owned home, the term is less according to how many years the previous owner has been paying.

Some owners choose to pay the entire bond early so as to avoid interest. If you have an extra $25,000 - 35,000 laying around that you don't need, then consider it. There are many threads here on the wisdom of paying the bond early or not.

It is curious to me our garbage rates have gone up, yet, now we don't get to recycle...which, in my mind says, our garbage/trash/recycle has actually gone down, because, really, our household of 2, now that we combine everything, only comes to about 1/2-3/4 of a bag, sometimes 2x a week, but sometimes not. SO, my question is...can I reduce my cost by opting out of having garbage pick up totally? That way, I can continue to recycle, and take my garbage to a local dump when I feel the need
