Default Dog Park Information Please!

My mom is renting a home on Leslie Ln close to Spanish Springs until she closes on her new home on Spanish Moss Way. Are there any dog parks near there? I am coming to visit her and I have no idea to find out this information. Thank you!

So you were able to find a discussion forum on the Villages, but you couldn’t find the two links just posted, by googling “dog parks the villages fla”?

More importantly, I suggest you read a since shuttered thread on ‘dog poop’. You and your family appear to be responsible pet owners by virtue of this question....but be forewarned, there are many poop passionate posters on this site

Paradise dog park is closest to Spanish Springs for you.
There is also a very nice smaller dog park called Lady Lake dog park that borders The Villages off of Rolling Acres Rd.

My favorite dog park is the Mulberry one in Springdale. It's a little ways from you but worth going to, your dog will love it. There's some nice shaded walking trails next to that park.

Good advice, although I would add that the Lady Lake dog park is not part of the Villages and requires a membership. Also, be sure your dog is vaccinated for hookworm if you bring him/her to a dog park. It’s not an issue up north, but is a real risk in Floridas climate.
