Default Question on the security gates

Last night I found out that we don't live in a "gated community" and that the "Little Red Button" will let anyone in. (That's okay because everyone told me that we were very safe in TV)

I'll be arriving tomorrow afternoon pulling a medium sized U-Haul trailer. My question is, when I flash my pass to raise the gate (or push the little red button) will the system sense the gap between the car and trailer and shut the gate on the trailer?? I worry about everything so I may just jump out and have my wife drive through and if the gate starts down I'll shove it back up. If you see a gate laying on the ground on either end of Pinellas tomorrow afternoon, please send the bill to "A-4 Skyhawk"

You'll be fine. Just think of all the contractors who come through those gates pulling their trailers.

Come through an attended gate in the visitor lane. The attendant will hold it open for you

The gates are magic! I witnessed today a car used his gate card and the gate went up. After the car got through the gate started back down but a car close behind the first car sped up and without swiping a gate card flew through the gate and the gate raised back up to allow him to do that!
