Default estimated cost to convert

a lanai into an acrylic enclosed lanai with air....some kind of indicator maybe? i have less than no clue

I guess costs would vary depending on the size of your lanai and quality of window treatments you want to do.

As far as Air Conditioning the space, neighbors of ours closed in their lanai and purchased a portable air conditioner that rests on the floor and vents outside. These units cost from $350-$1000 depending on BTU size and additional features. Check them out at Lowes or Home Depot and see if it is something that would work for you. Definately cheaper than tapping into your existing house AC unit.
