Hello!

This is my first post on TOTV. I just returned from my first visit to TV (my parents just retired here) and I'm already dreaming of when I can return! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical before I arrived.. everything sounded too good to be true but I was truly impressed with the lifestyle of TV. I'm very happy my folks chose this place. It was the most relaxing time I have had in years! It was really hard to go back to work on Monday. I can't help but thinking just 1 week ago I was at the fantastic Blues jam at McCalls and how I wish I could go back tonight.
Well, I'm not old enough to retire just yet but one can dream and plan right?

Doedee - you are now part of a large group.... People who WANT to retire to the villages, but can't yet.

Not ready to retire yet either, but bought a house anyway. Now my parents go when they want and we vacation every chance we get. So glad you had a great time, and hope you can return soon.

We have a little over a year until we retire and cannot focus on anything else except our move to TV! Time is standing still for us!

Glad you enjoyed your visit to TV. Hope your parents enjoy living in TV. Sounds like you have gotten bitten by the TV bug.
