Default Leaving for Florida on Tuesday !

House in NJ scheduled to close this week and we are heading down this Tuesday, me, husband and two basset hounds. Staying with our son and his family until we either buy or build in TV, ASAP. Have appt set up with salesman for 5/14 and a tour to show our son what we found so great about TV. We have been following this forum for awhile and have found the posts so very helpful and the happiness everyone seems to feel is really contagious. Can't wait to be finally settled and a part of it all.

Houndhouse:

Congratulations are in order that you will start living the dream.

I hope your closing goes well and the move will be seemless.

Sounds like a great plan and best wishes.

Congratulations! We've been where you will be. We lived with our son until we found our house in the Villages. You will love it here...no other place in the world better than this.

Hope you find your dream home quickly. Be sure and let us know where we can meet the bassets (and both of you, of course).

You have double the excitement, moving to TV and leaving NJ! I am jealous, we are still in Jersey for a couple of years. Good luck to you and welcome to TV except we are only in TV 3-4 visits a year.

Do you know if there is an actual street map link to view homes? Goggle Earth does not seem to show the newer areas and we would like to see some of the actual spec homes that are listed for sale.

Currently, Mapquest has the streets in the new villages, but the aerial view is outdated. Google maps and/or Google Earth have the newest aerial view, but are lacking the streets.
