Well the time has come we sign papers tomorrow on our house in Michigan!
It will not be our house anymore... There is no turning back.
We leave for Florida on Dec. 26th to our new home in TV....
My friends keep saying are you sure. I have never been so sure in my life... My stomache is in knots but I know what is to come is so much better than my life in Michigan. I am just so scared of not knowing what tomorow brings. Please tell me again how happy you are !

Dec 16... we will close on our house in CT... then we will stay here till after Xmas... and close on house in TV on 1/18... yes, I am also a little in the panic mode right about now, and everyone is saying to me "how can you leave your grandkids, and then they say "I could never leave them" making me feel so guilty. ughhhhh !!!

In no time you will remember why you're hear and rejoice at your decision. I've never spent an unhappy day in TV. I have heard that there are some unhappy people here, but as yet, I haven't met one. It's the happiest place I've ever seen.

I am getting the guilty trip also. My daughter is in Wis. with are grandson and my friends say are you sure what about your kids ! I say we can fly them down for a week or two ! Hope to meet everyone soon. Good Luck...

Hi Babs,

Lynn and I are also on our way from Virginia Beach. Our furniture is on our way and we close on our Virginia House tomorrow. We will be driving south to arrive in TV Friday. We will close on our house on Monday the 19th. Our furniture will arrive on the 23rd.

Exciting times, but we are looking forward to the new chapter.

This is the time of our lives that we need to think of us. We have helped and nurtured and loved and supported our children, and it is possible that we have done it a little too much. Now it is time for them to be adults and to find the way without us, although we are still here. Thankfully.

The wonderful draw of Disney and their grandparents home will bring them here and Skype. that is free, even if the camera costs a little is a wonderful way to look at each other and talk every day if we wish.

This place that makes all of us more active, is good for our bodies and our minds and for just our plain happiness.

It is very hard to leave our families and to begin life anew, but as someone who thought she would never do such a thing and is a type A, too responsible firstborn. ..I can say; I am so glad I did. And Sweetie is happy if I am happy. Plus he always wanted to play this much golf.

Plus, if we don't do it NOW, when will we do it??
