Smile Hello! I am an official Villager.

Hello everyone! I just moved to The Villages last Friday. I have been unpacking and settling in. I just now have had a chance to sit down and say hello from Indiana and the Purdue Boilermakers. I retired two weeks ago from being a pharmacist for 40 years and decided to start enjoying my retirement. I am single and never lived in FL so this is a really new and exciting experience. I have a million questions. First things first, does anyone know a great hair stylist who is good with cuts and color? I live in Charlotte so someone in that area would be great. Thank-you for your great suggestions.

Seems we are all in the same boat! I am closing Dec 5th in Gilchrist and will also be interested in finding a new stylist! TOTV is a great place to get answers and lots of information! You can also go to the Search section on top and look for threads containing the info you seek. Perhaps this will help us all!

Default Hair stylist

Welcome to The Villages. I tried a few hairstylist and was never happy until some people on this site mentioned Victoria at Victoria's Salon. She's located on 466. She's great with color and cut.

Ehende01, Welcome to TOTV from a wannabee! Hope you are enjoying settling in. I cannot give you any stylist recommendations, but if you go on the Feminine Forum and look at past posts, that topic has been discussed several times with quite a few recommendations. Hope you have many great times in your new home in the Village of Charlotte and enjoy froghood.

I can tell you exactly who you want to cut your hair. Michael from Salon Chioma which is near Kohls. I haven't been back to the same cutter in 10 years because I have never thought any of them are worth going back to. This guy is great. I can recommend him without reservation. As for color, I haven't done that but I have to think he is just as good. He is a perfectionist.

I have lived here for 6 years and have been through 15 hair stylists! I have been with Kasey @ Salon Chioma for 2 years now and wouldn't change. They are located off 27/441 behind the Lady Lake Police Station @ 371 Fennell Blvd. Phone # 352-750-4020. Tell her Marcella sent you!

I'm liking the sounds of Salon Chioma. What do they charge for just a haircut...no drying/styling?

Hi and welcome Purdue fan. I won't be moving until next summer, but a hair stylist has been on my mind. Let me know when you've found a good one!!
