Unhappy So Sad

It seems our buyer did not get his mortgage at the last minute. So we are now the proud owners of two homes...oh well....home now back on the market and we wait again.....so sad.....but still hopefull

Keep repeating after me:

There WILL be another buyer....

There WILL be another buyer....

I am sad to hear of this unfortunate turn of events.

Best Wishes.

I'm so sorry to hear this. You will be in my thoughts for a buyer. It will happen!

Hey Turtlediver-
Please know that you are not alone. We had the house sold with a cash deal. The inspection showed radon and the buyers refused to go forward even though we are instaling the remediation system on Monday! We feel your real disappointment. This WILL happen for both of us. We just need to think positive and keep reading TOTV for encouragement! Best of Luck- Pat and Jim

I just want to protect all of us from these disappointments. I truly understand. Feel these hugs to all of you.

Hi Turtlediver and pjmcd,
I'm sorry to read that your deals fell through. Please know though, eventually these experiences will just be another bump on the road. Joy awaits. Hope it's soon.

Love and hugs,
P

My guess is that your cash buyers used the radon as an excuse to back out of the deal. Radon is a natural gas and, when found, its remediation is pretty straight forward and not that costly.

I do feel your concern. We had a termite issue found during inspection and albeit inactive with no damage, we are on the hook for $800 to treat.

We have the bank appraisal next Tuesday and as I've previously posted, this selling process has been so tiring and I won't feel as if we have finally sold our home until I'm smoking a celebratory cigar in TV. Lets keep the positive vibes flowing for our TOTV friends....

Turtlediver -

Is it possible for your potential buyers to check elsewhere for a mortgage? I'd think your realtor (or theirs, if there is a second realtor involved) could help make it happen!! Just a thought - - -

Hope your home gets sold soon, one way or another!

Bill
